Annabel Hodgson
Founder, Managing Director
Annabel Hodgson has over 17 years experience within the research and search industry. She graduated with an M.A. (Hons.) Degree in History in 1992 and commenced her career providing in-depth research and market knowledge to the media sector. She then moved to the City where she worked as a Senior Researcher managing key client accounts within Commerce & Industry, Financial and Professional Services.
Prior to co-founding Newton Research in 1997, Annabel headed up and managed the In-House Research function for a successful square mile search boutique. She worked in conjunction with the firm's partners to define the search strategy and built up a team of specialist researchers focusing solely on the provision of market mapping, candidate generation, candidate interviewing, market analysis and commentary at mid-management and board level.
She was responsible for developing the in-house research methodology, the in-house research training program, and the Quality Control Audit, ensuring that all data was accurate, detailed, up to date, and delivered within exacting deadlines. Her extensive experience and her success to date rests on the ability to combine a sharp eye for detail with the application of methodical and rigorous research processes and procedures. In difficult and competitive markets, she demonstrates her ability to employ lateral thinking and provide creative and intelligent research solutions
