Executive Team

Caroline Ford

Founder, Managing Director

Caroline Ford has over 18 years City experience - over 8 years working in the City within Banking Law & Structured Finance, and over 10 years working within the Research and Search Industry.

She studied Law at Jesus College, Cambridge. On graduation she studied her Law Finals at Guildford Law School and after obtaining Honours, completed her Law Articles with Lovell White Durrant. Having qualified as a solicitor, Caroline moved to Wilde Sapte to practice Structured Finance, working on various real estate projects and SPV's. Her clients included some of the leading UK retail and commercial banking groups, and some of the leading US investment houses. After a number of years she was headhunted into the search industry to run retained search assignments, specialising in Financial and Professional Services. She was responsible for initial business development, research co-ordination and presentation.

In 1997 she moved away from consultancy and co-founded Newton Research to concentrate on the sole provision of market analysis and research. Her work in the City, and her training as a lawyer lend a unique insight into both the academic and the commercial drivers of accurate and valuable data provision.
